Terms of use
Last updated: 11 October 2026
This is a translation. If it differs from the Dutch version, the Dutch version prevails.
1. Parties and scope
These terms apply to the use of TalentByCode (talentbycode.com), offered by TBB Recruitment & Consultancy B.V., Meester B.M. Teldersstraat 7, 6842 CT Arnhem, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 95366881. By creating an account you accept these terms and our privacy policy.
2. What the platform does
On TalentByCode candidates find IT jobs and freelance assignments and apply for them; employers post vacancies and manage applications. TBB Recruitment also publishes vacancies itself and assesses the applications to them.
For other employers’ vacancies, TalentByCode is not a party to the employment or service contract between candidate and employer.
The platform is free for everyone.
3. Your account
- You provide correct and up-to-date information.
- Your account is personal; do not share your sign-in details. You are responsible for what happens with your account.
- If you suspect misuse of your account, change your password and let us know.
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the platform.
4. As a candidate
- The information in your profile and CV is correct and your own.
- You only apply to vacancies you are genuinely interested in.
5. As an employer
- Your vacancies are real, current and lawful, including the prohibition of discrimination.
- You use candidates’ personal data only to assess their application and process it in line with the GDPR. You are the controller for that data yourself.
- Your company details must be verifiable. A new company’s first vacancy is reviewed before it is published.
6. What is not allowed
You do not create fake accounts or vacancies, collect or use other people’s data without permission (including by scraping), spread spam, malware or misleading content, try to get around the platform’s security, or post unlawful content.
7. Content and moderation
Content you post (profile, CV, vacancy) remains yours. You allow us to use it as far as needed to run the platform, for example to show your application to the employer. We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law, take vacancies offline and suspend accounts.
Some vacancies come automatically from our partners and may be translated automatically. Translations may contain errors; the vacancy’s source text prevails.
8. Liability
We run the platform with care but do not guarantee it always works without interruption or errors. We are not responsible for the accuracy of other people’s vacancies and profiles, the outcome of an application, or the relationship between candidate and employer. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage. This does not apply in case of intent or gross negligence.
9. Ending your account
You can have your account deleted at any time through the contact form at talentbycode.com/contact. We may suspend or delete accounts that break these terms.
10. Changes
We may change these terms. We announce important changes in advance on the site or by email. If you keep using the platform afterwards, you accept the new terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are brought before the competent court in the district of Gelderland, unless the law gives a consumer a different court.
